From this page I learned that a lot of you guys could O/C this CPU up to 933 or oven pass the 1.g mark, how come that I could only do us far as 840 (120 fsb) after that it won't boot!!! What am I doing wrong? Or is this the limit of this particular CPU mine I mean? It is mounted on Via Apollo 133 w/256 of ram and Matrox G400 Dual head 16mb video card. All comments appreciated!
Because other people can overclock that much doesn't mean you can.
Although some people get stuck on that chip.
What kind of cooler does the computer have?
What are the temps of the overclocking right now?

Hi daddyloy, welcome to the Forum,
The heat is your enemy! check your P/// temps with MotherBoardMonitor, that you can found here (http://mbm.livewiredev.com/) ,never it must go above 40-45 degree C @full load (100% load), but less is better.
Do you know the stepping of the CPU? What heatsink and fan are you using? Do you have any case fans?
My P3 700 is cC0 which proved to be very good overclockers whereas the cB0 was a little more stubborn. A friend of mine could only get his to 827 so then bought a cC0 stepping and can now reach 1000+ with the (crappy) Golden orb and generic thermal paste.
Sometimes it just the luck of the draw... I was lucky in this respect I'm sure you'll be lucky in other aspects :)
