So silver is a biocide. and all the silver targon tubeing seems cool but dosent give you that UV reactive bling.

What if you used a silver plated fitting on say on your cpu block. You then used normal targon and uv coolent. Would that one fitting be any help?

best thing it would all look normal and still give you the UV bling.

Question.

How much would it be to silver plate a fitting?

Would anyone be willing to have one plated and try this"

Would the affect degrade over time?

is this a dumb idea?

if a company steals this idea could they atleast send me one fitting since i thought of this "i think, someone probly thought of it before me but i never seen anything like this"

I've heard of people using silver rods in a similar way, but I suspect that if there's enough silver in solution to keep it the coolant sterile, it would be hopelessly conductive. Copper is a biocide too, but even with all that copper surface in the radiator exposed the coolant, things can grow.
