The new RICOH MP9200A-DP must be a pretty good candidate for the best CD Writer around as it is a CD\CDRW\DVD drive
DVD read 12x
CD read 40x
CDR write 24x
CDRW write 10x
I love my Plextor 24/10/40A.

I'd say go for the TDK 24/10/40. At the website they have a 32/10/40 listed as well and both are burn-proof. You name it, it can copy it well besides DVD.

Plextor 1210 burnproof...faster writing speeds are really something that;'ll save you one or 2 minutes on writing time, i guess... I have the scsi version, which has really good transfer rates, especially when copying on-the fly from my plextor scsi CD-Rom. Also a lot less data loss than IDE types. And burnproof really works. Go for security and stability rather than top-speed...12 is enough IMHO
I would go with a plextor or a TDK. I have a TDK 16x10x40 and love it. I have also heard that Plextor makes the internals for the TDK. Dont know for sure though.
i love my tdk 24x10x40x
espically when i got it for $50 :burn:
