how to tell if drive is running sata 1 or 2 ?

i have a seagate sata 2 drive but have not as fa r as i can rember pulled any jumper son the drive and was wondering if there is any sofwatre way to easily see if the drive is running sats 2 or not ?
yes i i know i could pull the drive and check but its deeply routed inplumbing and cables so i dont fancy pulling it..... lan tomoz ! I30

Well, you won't see a performance difference since a HDD can't saturate SATA1 anyway. But to answer your question, no, I believe you have to pull it and check. It only takes about 5 mins anyway.
