A new idea?

This is about the 5th time I tried to post this, but it kept meesing up, so here it goes.

My idea is too hook up each case fan to a switch so that I can turn them on/off at my dicretion. There would also be an LED above each switch to show which fans are on more clearly. Would this work?

I think it would be great for someone who is just doing light computer work or just listening to music since it would lower the noise levels coming from the computer.

SO, would this work? Could it be rigged up?

The dolly switches would go down that yellow panel with the LEDs on the side of each.

Yeah, completely possible. Quite a few people (or at least those down in Alternative Modding) have baybusses where they hook their fans to variable resistors or switches to control their speed based on what they're doing. If you could hook the fans up so they run at a lower voltage rather than off, I think it would be better.
