Microsoft Sidewinder Xp drivers

I have the original sidewinder game pad and I tried to use it for the first time since going to xp. Xp does not recognize it and I can not find Xp drivers for it. If anyone has any info about xp drivers then please post it. Thanks, Explorer

XP includes drivers for the SideWinder game pad...Control Panel | Game Controllers | "Add" button | Microsoft SideWinder (Auto Detect).

The only problem is...the SideWinder software isn't available for XP, not even at MS's game controller website. AFAIK, MS never made the controller software available for W2K either...so that's not even a possibility. You might want to check their hardware site every so often for the XP software...
