Radeon 7000 -Fresh @$69

Just picked up a Radeon 7000 32Meg DDR today at a computer show in Marlborough MA for $69. Took me a while to get the new modem up and running($16), but already we have major differences. I used Funny Person's comparison shopping list and found only a few prices comparable between the show and pricewatch. They had NVidia Gforce2 MX400 for $66, MX200 for $55, Voodoo3 for $30, Radeon 7200 64meg sdr for $77, and 7500 for $164, 8500 was a whole different ballgame. I can't give any difinatives on the 7000 since I just got it, but so far so good.:beer:

well i assumed people would be ordering from pricewatch because the prices are pretty cheap, but you got a nice deal because the Radeon700 on pricewatch at the time i did my list was 64dollars+shipping which probably runs you about 10-15$....now the lowest price is 50$ though.....nice find....

I wish it had been 20 clams cheaper, but ya know I just checked out the $49 jobby on pricewatch, and it turns out that when you get to the guys site and take a close look, he is actually selling you a VE! Shiester ! Which as you know is not exactly a 7000..... People at the show were selling VE's for 70 bucks as well, which seem nice with the dual monitor and TV thing, but seems like alot of people attest to them being sub par. I think a weekly price posting is a great idea. I know that having the info in hand make research and buying have a superior end.:burn:
