Hey wassup every1 how ya doin...Im kool. But sumthing is bugging me. Ok first of all I got a Soyo Drag+ with a 1133mHz T-Bird O/C'ed at 1485mHz running pretty damn stable(I could go more). Its got a stick of 256Mb Corsair PC2400 Ram. Right now I got a lil cheap ATi Radeon VE in it (8500 comin' soon) and it seems like the faster I run my CPU the crappier my graphics get. I was playing half-life the other day and it felt like I was playing on 500mHz CPU. So I lowered the speed about a hundred mHz or so and the game ran smoother. One thing that really tripped me out was when I started hitting a dead alien with the crowbar it hit them so fast it sounded like a damn machine gun and all I saw was green blood everywhere. I dont know if that was good or bad but I never seen that before. Well hope u can answer my question. Thanx

hola jzar, welcome to the forums

if you're overclocking your computer using the FSB, you in effect not only overclock the cpu and ram. but also the pci, agp and ide devices as well.

your pci devices work on a divisor (1/4 for a 133mhz system, making them run properly at 33mhz). but if you up your fsb to 160mhz, that forces your pci (due to the divisor) to run at 40mhz.

the same is true of the agp. so in that case, yes, the overclock could be messing with your agp card (the card cant handle it).

hope this helped!

Well here is what Im running my system on: 135FSBx11 1.85v, CPU temp only 39c (according to SmartGuardian a prog that came with the dragon) Believe it or not it is air cooled. I got the Volcano 6u+ with the copper heatsink and arctic silver II compound. Also 2 80x80x32 delta fans on the case (1 exhaust other intake). Oh yea also got 256mb of Corsair PC2400. So how does this effect your guyses responses. Thanx once again.
