We've all seen the comercials and ads with people pretending to hold the Wiimote like a gun for CoD or swing it like a sword, golf club, etc...

It looks relatively cool (relative being the key word), but this is what Wii really look like when playing the games:

http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?type=wmv&id=18436

The guy on the right looks like he keeps alternating between absence and tonic-clonic sezuires and the guy on the left looks, for the lack of a better description, like a ****** trying to fire off knuckle children...

Not the best promo video for a game I've ever seen.

This is old news, brother. By now, everybody and their uncle's neighbor's cousin's dog knows that you don't actually mimic the movements on the screen. The advertisers are just make the users in the commercials flail around to make it look better. Same as the way McD's makes Big Macs look nicer in the commercials, and why hair color companies use gorgeous women. It's all to sell product. This is not something new.

Yeah, its was kind of a joke with stupid plays on Wii that are so over used now and most importantly because i don't think they could have picked 2 bigger dorks to do the demonstration.

Well... they could have gotten the Star Wars kid i guess, lol.

dude, if they got the starwars kid doing a Wii commercial, that would probably have been the best console commercial EVER created.

I have a friend that could literally double as the Starwars kid. he's the same build, the face looks alot alike, the hair color is nearly the same, and my friend dresses just about the same as well. My friend would just need to cut his hair, or the starwars kid grow his hair, and they could pass as twins.

Gee, I remember telling you guys that after I took it for a test drive at the Eaton Center about 2 months before the console was even available.

Nintendo/Lucas Arts should pay the star wars kid or a look-a-like like your buddy to do the first Jedi game commercials or just put the movie floating around the net with game scenes in the background, lol.
