Help with HDD Performance. i'm getting 25mb/s. Want to shoot myself in the face

What XP setttings can i check, to see if everything is going normal ?
Where can i start to look for ?


DMA is enable,
Write Caching Enable,
I'm using NTFS ( no indexing )
"diskperf" is set to (-n)

My 5400 rpm 60gb samsung laptop drive reads at about 30Mb/s Maybe yours is just slow? Dont expect more than 40 out of 5400 rpm thoe..
