Wao yes credit the sources.
anywho, that card looks massive what kind of power does it take =P!!!
if it were me i would take off the front cover and put a 120mm fan on some how. that fan over there looks crazy loud.
Sweet... Must... Get... R600...
I heard this can run 3DMARK06 @ 1600*1200 and still score 11000 marks.
*Source Uncited*
Also, woah that's a thick PCB.
I wonder...

Aren't these the same oem shots we saw a few months ago?

Man, I was working on an old PC with nothing more then passive cooling on the GPU. Now we have this. Anyway pretty cool, though I am more partial to benchmarks then looks.

any word on when we can get our hands on the card? I haven't heard a word from ATI/AMD so I was curious as to why they have not really promote the heck out of the card:confused:

i should imagine it will be out in time to make the Crysis launch at the end of june, seeing as though that is the most popularised DX10 game. It is everywhere on the internet, whereas F.S.10 isnt.

I will definitely pick this card up just to play Crysis. I've seen some of the movies on Crysis and it seems that it will require a powerful machine in order to turn on all those eye candy. Any word on the price. I ready somewhere that it will be $100 cheaper than 8800gtx

Wow, only 8 RAM chips means it's really 512bit. What a bandwidth monster.
dan
Wow...that thing is massive. Now I need a new mobo, cpu, ram etc.... + a new Case

Ok, seriously, that thing will not fit in my case
Time to run open box!
Wow, I am definitely waiting for the first die shrink.

I can't wait till we have external graphics cards connected via a hypertransport interface. basically turn our systems into micro clusters.

There's 16... hence the 1Gb of V-RAM.
How much bandwidth is that? Nearly 140 Gigabytes a second?
I'll have to remove one of my drive bays to make room for this contraption!

Are those power connectors?! How much juice is this thing going to suck down? Am I going to need a 1Kw PS to run this damn thing?!
Super Nade: Yes, PWM (X1950Pro has PWM as well).
imposter: rumor is 230W.
Dan0512: 16 chips (looks for the thermal pads on the black stiffener plate).
Shell: Samsung BC09 is GDDR4 rated at 1.1GHz (2.2Gbps/pin) - http://www.samsung.com/Products/Semiconductor/GraphicsMemory/GDDR4SDRAM/512Mbit/K4U52324QE/K4U52324QE.htm

HEhe I have transfered money from savings to checking/
I hope, for alot of peoples sake that good 500+w units can run a single one of these.
I am not prepared to part with my Turbocool 510.

That thing looks like a limousine with a GT spoiler.
It's shorter than X1950XTX without the cooler.

You won't beable to OC the card on a non native 8-Pin connector, unless it will accept some sort of PCI-E 6-Pin + Molex connector or something.
It's shorter than X1950XTX without the cooler.
8.35 inches long is the PBC, question is how much of the retail fan will hang over the card itself.
