Everytime I boot, my motherboard shows me what sata drives are recognized under a raid setup prompt. I purchased a new 750gb Seagate SATA Drive, and I formated it in windows with partion magic, and I can see it in my computer and write to it, but when start the PC with the hard drive pluged in, it gets to that RAID setup screen, it shows the name of the HD, but won't show its capacity, and stops there, will not go further. The only way I can get the HD to work is if I hot swap it once past that RAID screen. I also tried installing windows in windows, and i get an error saying that one of the drives is not recognized or something along those lines. Any insight would be great.

Thanks

Enter the raid setup and configure the drive as a single disk raid 0. You may lose any data on the drive so BACK UP first.

I can't get into the raid setup with the drive pluged in.
