Internet Explorer Bitmaps

This really sux! I have a large collection of images, but now I cant save them in jpg/gif formats! IE will only let me save to bitmap!!! Ive tried alot, but maybe im missing something...help!

You might want to give this a try...(after exporting the following key to a file, so it can be merged back into the registry if you have a problem after modifying the Value Data (return the key to its' previous state).

Click Start , click Run , and then type: "regedit" (without the quotes) to start the Registry Editor.

Click the Name value under the following key in the registry:

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | Microsoft | Shared | Tools | Graphics Filters | Export | Jpeg"

On the Edit menu, click Modify , type: "JPEG File Interchange Format" (without the quotes) in the Value Data box, and then click OK .

Click the Extensions value under the same key in the following registry:

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | Microsoft | Shared | Tools | Graphics Filters | Export | Jpeg"

On the Edit menu, click Modify , type: "jpg" (without the quotes) in the Value Data box, and then click OK .

Press F5 to refresh, and quit the Registry Editor.

sometimes that will happen if u need to clear your IE cache

It might be a good idea if you were to give us your system specs (maybe even which OS and version of IE you're using), instead of nothing more than "Still sux", "This really sux", or "Well, still dont work"...
You might even want to give us a little bit of backround history as to when the problem started, did you just install/uninstall a program, etc.

It's pretty hard to even try to help you when this is the only info you give us to go on...

2 things you could try to update your ie if update available, or reinstal/repair your ie, hopefull it will fix your associations

2nd you can check and see(file, view) what program is associated with your jpeg and gif, chances are that you have nothing associated with those, what OS so someone can steer u right

i would think that you did install something prior to that proplem/did something
