Well I just ordered everything the other day for my new rig I'm building except for the processor. I was going to wait until the price drops on the 22nd and maybe get the E6600, But now that the E6420's are available I'm debating on whether or not to get that. This is my first system build and first time OCing. I plan to do some moderate OCing at first, nothing extreme.

The RAM and mobo I'm running are the DS3 965P rev 3.3 and G.Skill 2GB (1gbx2) F2-6400CL4D. I want to stay around the $200 price range. Any ideas on which CPU would be best for for this setup?

E6320's are also availbe at the same e-tailer.
I would base my desison on how far that ram will overclock on average.
whats the model numbers after F2-6400CL4D (example -2GBPK or -2GBHZ)?

seems they do very good on an updivider but 1:1 is a little tougher

If you plan on active cooling for the ram and 2.2-2.3Vdimm the E6320 could hang with the other CPU's.. If you would like to be more conservitive with the ram go for the E6420, I don't think the E6600 is nessary with your motherboard and ram selection.
