There's no doubt you'll need more than 320mb of vram for that res.

Yeah I figured it wasn't a price mistake seeing as the Evga one is only $40 more amir, but $40 is $40. Plus I got my check from state taxes yesterday so I pretty much had to buy it.

Well i've heard of some issues with their support. The warrenty is 1 year or 3 if you register the product. And you cannot RMA if you are missing the receipt or box.

In their eyes life time warranty means, " as long as the product working (or alive) its under warranty , but once it has died, that means its not living therefore out of "life" and no longer in warranty . If you don't know how to scream at a CS rep they won't honor it.

So this is why i stay away from PNY as much as possible.

if you have any issues with a company being non responsive, don't give up. mention BBB and they ship you out a new one overnight. I don't take BS from any CS rep

RedRumy from here has the 640MB version same res, his cpu is oc'ed and he gets 142 FPS with the same settings in CSS. My cpu is at stock because im waiting for my new cooler to arrive.

I never do that imo not worth $4 on a $20 rebate. I always save copies of everything and write down the day it was sent. Thats all thats really needed.

buy.com is super lame, I have attempted to order 5 times had every order cancelled, my USA billing and shipping address are identical and on file with CC company. You can not reach a person at buy.com they reply with copy and pasted email replies.

As good as this deal is/was I have to wait now cause I am getting some type of lame excuses why they can not process the order yet everything is as it should be with my cc company. They have even been called to get credit amount approved

I bought my 7900 hopeing to step up, but the price they were going to charge me for the 8800 just would not drop below $600, even though retailers had it for $380.

guys there should be a price drop and maybe some more rebates here shortly on these cards. With ATI's release comming mid next month (strong allegedly here as they repeatedly have pushed it back) Nvidia will hope to kick them in the gut some more by dropping there prices to cut into buyers on the fence. There should definetly be further price drops. The reason for the current drops and rebates seems to be to steal some buyers right before atis release. I am sure there will be more at the release

It might if you went through the newegg warranty. They might want the original packaging so not having the barcode on the box can effect that, but even then I've received RMAs shipments back from newegg and item boxes without the barcode so maybe they don't care. It shouldn't effect the warranty through the manufacturer though.
