What does Memory Remap Feature do in BIOS? (Option is enabled or disabled)

If I enable it will I get faster RAM?

If "enabling" it does improve preformance how much of a gain are we talking here?

Its mainly for if you have a 64bit OS and 4gb of RAM. Basically it allows you to remap the overlapped PCI memory above the total physical memory.

I have only 2Gb of RAM in windows XP (I think 64 bit) so that means I should just disable it?
