yeah, there's quite a few members are using SETISpy w/ WinXP. and i've posted a thread 'bout it a couple weeks ago.

generally, SETISpy "might" or "will" crash in WinXP! as most of other member had found out included me. according to the creator, it wasn't designed for WinXP, and the current version IS the final version, and will NOT develope anymore.

the most comman problem w/ WinXP is when u start (click) SETISpy, it might crash right away. and the work around is "just keep trying"!! really!! usually, after 2-4times, it will be running fine.

also, DON"T put a shortcut into the Start Menu for auto start-up everytime u boot up. or it WILL crash too.

however, u could still run it under WinXP, and w/out much other problem. mainly launching crash. once it launched, it's running fine.

I've had SETISpy in my startup folder with no problems yet in XPpro. Where do you set it to Win2000 compatibly?

I do believe the "themes" can have a major impact on it, and if it is in startup as well. I start it manually, and have hardly any problems now.

If you right click on the shortcut you wish to change compatibility for and click on properties you will see you can change the mode of compatibility on one of the tabs in the properties.

Hope that helps!

Thanks. I haven't had any problems yet. But I changed the compatibility to Win 2000 anyways.
