OK I'm stupid tonight. Who's Tim?

I'm assuming those D820s are getting replaced with C2D chips.

I guess you're talking about the p2608 WU and the p2609 WU. I've been pretty lucky, until just recently (I've got 2 of em', p2609's) I've been getting p2604's pretty consistently. What a let down, from 1760 points to 1523 points  On the serious side of things I think it is about time the points were readjusted. (although I got spoiled with the 1760 pointers :eh?: ) If you weren't referring to the 2 new (new to me anyway) WU's just ignore this post please

Cache sensitive suckers are even worse than the Win SMP p2610 on the rigs with 2 MB and less caches. If they come out in droves, I might have to be prepared to switch back and forth between Linux SMP and Win SMP depending on the WU availability.

Hi, I'm Tim...I'm the one with the armada of aging D820s out in the desert. :) Was hoping that by dropping the D820s outta my sig that Mac would forget about them... Yes, it's getting close to upgrade time(c'mon price-drops!) :D

My upgrade strategy is: drop some Q's into my DS3s, take the displaced C2Ds and put them in my C2D capable P5LD2 v2s, one of the D820s will drop into a P4M800Pro-M that's been sitting on the floor next to my desk; eventually the D820s will work their way to ebay. ;) For the past couple months I've just been banking my overtime and not making any purchases. Newegg noticed that and sent me an email recently, inquiring about my conspicuous absence.

Thanks for the heads-up Mac; however, whatever I do...nothing will forestall the inevitable flattening my farm will get 3 days from now, by the zim effect! :eh?:

P.S. my sigs back, just for reference...;)

I would move that mobo before zim comes past , hide it in a cabinet or something , throw and old crappy psu in a new box and hopefully he will take that instaed of the mobo
