Where is the best place to buy quick disconnects from besides overclock-watercool.com(bad exp with these guys). I can't seem to find any sites that carry these. I need to get two more to quick disconnect my radiator :D
For metal or plastic ones you can try:
http://www.mcmaster.com
Check quick-disconnects in the first section.
They have both the one way shut-offs and the two-way.
hint: the top of the pane has 9 pages in the pull down menu.

Whats the difference between one way and two way shut off valves. If I get a one way shut off valve will it not block the water on the bottom or top of the quick disconnect? :D I do not want water leaking on either side of the hose. Thanks for pointing out this site.
Can you guys explain practical uses for these ?
I have a vague idea, really.. I thought maybe something like putting them on every barb and hose tip in the system, that way it is EASY To disasemble, and clean the system when it needs to be, with very minimal mess
Is that too far fetched ?

You could put these all over the system, but wouldn't that be a tad bit expensive? If you need to clean out the water system that much, then you've used the wrong coolant or materials. (or ya need to filter that bong.
They're usually used if someone has an external component in their watercooler system. (i.e. a bong, remote radiator, mini-fridge, or geothermal cooling) so the system can be moved on occasion.
The difference between one-way's and two-way's are this: A one way shuts off the waterflow in one hose when disconnected, the other remains open (spilling it's contents on the floor). The two-way of course closes both lines when the connector comes apart.
Two-way's are helpfull in that they don't spill much when disconnected, and they don't introduce much air into the line when put back together. That's helpfull in a non-reservior system.
Also, being that they are a double fitting, using a bunch of them would reduce the waterflow some. Something to ponder while planning.
Expensive ? sure.
I don't change out my water that often at all.. infact I just changed it the other day, after running it since October, and I didn't really need to...but I figured why not, since I was taking the whole rig apart to install new stuff.
And yes, both my radiator and pump/res combo are external..
I may be stupid enough to cool with water, but I'm not stupid enough to put a tank of it in my case..
(I even got duct tape over my hose joints clamped to my waterblock heh...)

I am using one set to disconnect the cpu block, because I have a removable mobo tray. This is so I can service it easier. I want to get another set because I have my radiator external and want to be able to remove it if need be.

Does anyone know of a place where I can get some pvc double valve quick disconnects. If I have to I will pay more for the brass, but Id rather get pvc which seems to be cheaper usually :D
