I have a 1.33 T-Bird with mega case cooling (air) and a decent CPU cooler Thermaltake 6Cu+ (38CFM). I have been overclocking to 1.4GHz (10X140) my MB temp is 27C and the CPU is 51C at 100% load (running SETI@home).

At this speed it is stable, but should I back off the overclocking to get the temp down? 51C just seems a little high.

The TB's are running quit hot in general, especially the higher mhz rated ones. With 51 degrees stressed, you do not need to worry. You have your cooling pretty much under control.

My 1GHz @ 1365 (more or less the same methinks :)
gets up to 54, but doesn't seem to mind. On the other hand, even at stock speed it reaches 49.

I would throttle back in a heat wave if I were you...

I think you guy's have high temps. Check my sig. That's a 290MHz overclock and the voltage is 0.2V higher than default, but my temps never get's above 45C.
I'm not saying that 50-55C will kill your CPU, but personally I don't like CPU temp's over 50C.

i too think your temps are way high.

For Intake i have nothing...

For Exhaust i have a 120mm blowhole in the top
92mm PS Fan in rear (in PS)
80mm Panaflow

On the Glaciator HS is hte stock 60mm fan (29)cfm

1330@1607
case temps after 4 hours of 100% load is 43c @ 1.85vcore and that is with NO INTAKE AIR

I have no fancy Arctic Silvery type stuff, so I guess it could be improved when I save some pennies. Case is far too crowded.

People keep looking concerned if I mention spending any money on my computer :(.
