There's one left here (http://www.futureshop.ca/marketing/clearance/EN/proddetailpc.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10084133&catid=11520&PCName=Clearance&logon=&langid=EN#)

Good deal?

Well, when I'm in doubt I just go over to dell or any other place where I can customize a pc like the one I'm looking at and see what they are charging. Dell seems to be charging about 1083 plus shipping and tax. Hope that helps.

That's Canadian BTW. The 2GB ram and 160 GB HD are really standout. But there's a weak graphics card.

What do you expect in 14 inch notebook. Dedicated gfx will consume more battery life and make lappy hotter.

You can always upgrade ram and Hdd yourself. I got my Acer with 1gb ram, 120gb hdd and Ati x1600 with 15.4 widescreen for that same price.

Dell has a better warrenty service than futureshop, another thing to keep in mind when buying a laptop.

You still have the Acer warrenty.
