1650Mhz AMD XP 1600
16.5x100
I hardlocked it at 16.5x
Got info from that site www.ocinside.de
going to try and attach image of WCPUID.
so far so good, no luck ups YET. Got RAM running at 133mhz cas2.
going to wait to push it father until i get a Alpha PAL 8045
Running a Dorb 3 (just the 4900rpm version)
Now i was wondering how to setup MBM 5 so i can see the voltages, temps and stuff.
Now i hope this image thing works.
I just went to the attach file thingy

You need help with MBM5, eh? Can you be more specific? I'd be happy to help!

Well that's a good overclock for a xp 1600+ but running it at 100fsb is kind of ruining the performance.

I am going to download it again and see if i can set it up.
Last time i installed it and i didn't know how to set the sensors for my mobo Soyo Dragon+ so i uninstalled it.
Just wondering what version should i get?
Going to download 5.1.0.2 and see if that works.

what board are you using to get a 16.5 multiplier ??? Never heard of one so high that actually WORKED !:D :p

I am using a dragon+
here are my sandra benchmarks.
The memory seems lower than before

I dunno how to attach more than one file sorry :)

CPU multimedia Benchmark
How do these compare to systems with 133fsb around the same CPU speed?

Yes your memory scores are lower because your default fsb is 133 so your memory runs at 266mhz.
Now you are running at 100fsb so your memory is only running at 200mhz.

Redo it so your multiplier is 11 then set your fsb to 150 then you will get a boost.

I tried that with the default 10.5x 150 but i wouldn't boot.
My board seem to want to run at a higher FSB than either 100 or 133.
Or i dunno if my system components can handle the higher FSB speed.
I think my RAM can handle the higher FSB's but everything else can't
RAM: Corsair XMS 2400 Cas2
I have the DRAM clock running at 133 in the bios and it is set at Cas2, 2t, 5t, 2t, 4 bank.
I also tried everyother FSB above 133 when it was at default multiplier but all of them were unstable. well most of them.
Now you may be wondering why i never unlocked it. :(
I kinda messed up trying to unlock it and now the L1 bridges cannot be connected.

I went and tried to look for a common reason but failed to find anything.
Alot of people seem to be having the same problem as you thou.
Some have "fixed it" but all seem to have done different things.
Turning foc off in the bios, removing sblive, getting a different dragon (rma) with same componets, using the latest bios, using the original bios.

Don't know what to say :(

My plans are to get a new 1600 and get some good stuff for unlocking and unlock it right and run it at 12.5x133 and one of my friends is going to use this one on his ECS board. So sometime after christmas i should have a unlocked 1600 XP.
Hopefully i don't mess up the L1 bridges again.
I did the L10 fine.
So i'll just wait and see.
Thanx.
