I am having a hell of a time trying to get my sys to boot faster and am hoping some of you can help me. My boot times are around 1:06 - 1:12, and it takes about 10-15sec to get to where the win boot logo would normaly be (its disabled). I am running win98se and believe have updated drivers.

I am also having issues with shutdown, the problem is it will not do it... lol. Some times it goes fine, but it often hangs on the shutdown logo (Like to know how to disable shutdown logo and disable fast shutdown option). I have dl'ed the shutdown suplement and it didnt really do anything.

Thanks for yer help,

sometimes, I have noticed that a network card delays everything. nothing I could do about it.

Also, find out if there is some half dead and/or half uninstalled program that is still trying to load/unload.
