I must change my PSU. This what I have already is not good. I can give about 100$. What do you prefer for me?
What do you think about this:
1. SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-550HT ATX12V (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151027)
2. ENERMAX Liberty ELT500AWT ATX12V 500W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194003)
3. Mayby someone different? But which one?
People prefer me: Tagan, Seasonic, Topower, Enermax Liberty, Chieftec. What do you think about this company?

P.S. I wand PSU for the future. It must has enought power for C2D and GF8800 or something similar!

Energy Plus 550. Probably one of the best/silent PSU around.

Go for the Corsair one posted above! My friend has that 520 watt version running an OCed E6600 and Geforce 8800 GTS without a hiccup! :)

I asked the experts the same question when I was buying a new power supply. Oklahoma Wolf's opinion was that the Corsair was the best modular in this size range, it's a Seasonic OEM. I was not disappointed. The ZZF price includes shipping and no tax + there is a $10 MIR. I know $10 is not a big deal but Corsair handled that nicely for me. It will handle an 8800GTX easy with plenty to spare. To me the choice isn't close and it was the best $100 I ever spent on computer equipment.

I'm not putting down the Enermax, it just wasn't recommended to me over the Corsair.

Can you tell me what voltages you have in this Corsair (12V, 5V, 3,3V)? If you can, please use the multimeter. I don't belive programs.
Can I belive this Oklahoma Wolf's opinion?
I have to be sure that this PSU keep the voltages. I don't want to buy s***

I never heard abou Corsair PSU!

I never heard abou Corsair PSU!

Voltage on my 12v rail is 12.22 steady idle and double instance of Orthos running both cores reads ~12.12v-12.16v. Don't know where to check the 3.3v at. My 5 volt checking at a power molex is 5.08v steady. I only use a DMM to check voltages.

When the Oklahoma Wolf and a few other guys here speak about power supplies, you better listen. Jonny Guru's URL is great for evaluations. He calls it like he sees it. Do you think I want junk running my computer? Nobody here does either, that's why they come here and ask like I did.

I bought this Corsair. It is great.
When I was looking for a PSU i found one comment about this corsair. One guy wrote that he has voltages: 12.02, 5.01 and 3.35. I thought that is impossible and that he lied.
But I bought this PSU and I have voltages:
IDLE 12.01, 5.02 and 3.34
STRESS 12.01, 5.01 and 3.34
I can't belived what I saw. It is great PSU.

Thank you for your help
