AOpeb CD-RW can't write

AK31 3.1
Xp 1600
windows xp
lite-on 16x dvd
Aopen 20x10x40x cdrw

The problem is I can't get the cdrw to write without error. I am using Nero to burn cd, and get the "closing track error" everytime, no matter what speed. I wonder if this is because of winXP. Before I update the firmware, nero report my drive only can write 12x, after the firmware update, it reported correctly at 20x, but still get the same error. please help thanks...

what is your cashe buffer?

are you ONLY running that program?
are you just trying to create an audio cd?

yeah, I only run nero
just create a data cd with just one small file

reinstall firmware and drivers ....

check your cable for any nicks or cuts

check to see if all connections are secure.


outside of that I dunno - I will keep working on it.
