Finally! I was saddened to learn that I could not oc my dual PII 400 some months back ( best Intel rig I've had) but I recently purchased a used VP6 and a pair of PIII 1000s.:D

After excitedly building the rig (with crap hsfs- all I had handy) I then proceeded to oc.........1149 was the highest I could get due to 1 cpu temp being HIGH- 50c or so.

After running a couple days, and finding another old hsf, I pulled out the lapping gear and did up the sinks. New ASII and the newly lapped sinks give me 1186 (still testing for stability)!

Voltages are maxed out, 1 stick of micron ram (256 mb pc133) and an older hard drive and the thing is screaming fast- but unlike my other rigs (mostly AMD) it is NOT screaming loud!

This also brings my average even 4 Intel chips and 4 AMD (only 3 running- need a video card!) :burn:

from what people have been posting you can probably get into the 1300's with some better HSF's

update us on your progress

That's a pretty sweet overclock for dual cpu's good job.. tell us if you can scratch out anymore mhz's.
