Grrr my Core 2 just fished its first set of WU's and Standford only shows 1 WU for me when clearly I should have 2.
Maybe it hasn't updated yet?

They were submitted just a few mins apart. We see if I have 4 WU's tomorrow.

I'll take one for the board as to my many in the queue.
:p
What protiens? eg: "[09:53:23] Project: 2611 (Run 1, Clone 411, Gen 2)" from FAHlog.txt
Did you perhaps install one instance and then copy the files over after the first installed had downloaded a WU? That would cause both instances to be working on the same protien and you only get credit for the first one submitted.

It was a 2611, but they both had there own directory. Took the FAH console and open them up each in a separate folder. Also machine ID's are different.
Also it did it again. Last night I turn in two big WU's and I got credit for 1, not both =(
Are the id's and team # right in both your client.cfg's?
You can check in each fahlog.txt and/or client.cfg's. fahlog.txt is the best place to check since it will show what values and other settings the client is actiually using. And even better if you have "-verbosity 9" set in your client launch shortcuts.
Or post them all here and we can do a double check for you.
Posting of the fahlog.txt files from each instance would be helpful anyway in case there is some other cause.

I checked and they are fine. The only thing was that Machine IDs were the same. I changed them so they are different. We see whats up.

You can verify they are different by checking the logs.
With the same id they were probably crunchiing the same wu ie. project #, Run, Clone, Gen were the same?

Ok here each Log from each. See what you guys think. Standford only has me at 3 WU's when i should be at 6.
FAHlog-Prev shows the same user ID and Machine ID as FAHlog.txt. They are from different directories. They are both covering the same time frame and working on the exact same WUs. This happens because the assignment server sees both your instances as one. It thinks you "lost" the first WU it sent you because the same machine (user ID and machine #) asked for another assignment without turning in the last assignment and is configured to send you the same one as a replacement for the lost WU. You only get credit for the first one turned in. You should stop the client, delete the work folder and queue.dat from the instance showing the least progress. Run the client with the -config -forceasm -verbosity 9 flags. Answer NO to use IE settings? and NO to use proxy? Answer YES to accept WUs > 5MB and yes to change advanced setings. In advanced settings, change the machine ID to 2. Why did you change the name of the executable on one instance?

Grrr both were 574 Point WU's too.:) I did what you said, lets see if this works. Also the machine ID was changed latter on and it still did not matter.
