i am just curious...i bought this ram a while back for the ics and i was looking at the ram list and it shows it comes with 2 diffrent sets or kinds.... i am getting my information from:

http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/

PC2-8000 ZX

F2-8000PHU2-1GBZX
F2-8000PHU2-2GBZX

5.0-5-5-15 @ 2.2 ~ 2.3V

Micron D9GMH (B6-3) 6-layer PCB

Micron D9GKX (B6-25E) 6-layer PCB

would be my ram.....
my actualy question is.. if they come with diffrent types of ics? how do you know or find out what ones you actualy got.. or is there a way?

huh.. they added GMH for those on the list since you got yours..

The only way to really know is to void the warrentee by taking off the heat spreaders and looking at the IC's themselves.

GMH and GKX are fairly similar when it comes to how they overclock generaly (If the GMH is in a hand picked set it cqn actually OC better on average)
you need to push them pretty hard to be able to tell the differnce IMHO and that might not give you conclusive results.

hay.. that was just a typo.. I can really fubar some spelling on words

no problem :D
