I've bought Amd Athlon 1.2 fsb 200 on MSI KT7 Turbo LE
My processor overheat because I underclocked to 900 Mhz, it has now nearly 50 celsius degrees when I'm playing. I've got jamicon ball bearing with silver mixture paste. I don't want to do it higher becaue I think I could damage it. I touched heatsink and its rather cool, temperature of mainboard rarely reach 28 celsius degrees. Help me.

If you dont have it yet buy some artic silver 2. Check out the application instruction. here (http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_silver_instructions.htm) .

Try taking the side off your case to see if the temps go down because if they do you could use better case ventilation.

You also should buy a compunurse or a digidoc to get accurate core temps its more then likely your onboard temp sensors are giving you the wrong temp reading the temps could be higher then or lower then the onboard sensors are showing. Read this accurate core temps (http://www.overclockers.com/tips491/) .

Good luck feel free to ask more questions if needed.

I almost forgot be sure to read through the beginner guides (http://www.overclockers.com/topiclist/index04.asp#) these will help you along with the tips & techniques check those out too.

It might be worth checking that your heatsink in properly fitted. If it is doing its job properly it should feel warm to the touch near the base. This means that the heat is being transferred effectively from the CPU to the HS.

I have checked your HSF details and the details apply to a fan only. It sounds like you have a retail HSF, these tend not to be too good at cooling the higher speed Athlons. My first recommendation would be to look at the heatsink reviews Here (http://www.overclockers.com)
