ICS and 2 pc's!!

i have 2 nic cards ,2 pc's,1 internet connection , and in my head i suss this................connect the pc upstairs to mine via nic + cable,use mine as gateway wee all surf happily ever after??????????
can someone confirm if i need to get any more stuff i.e. HUB??????????

If you use a cross-over TP cable between the computers, you wouldn't need a hub. A hub is required if you plan to connect 3 or more computers, or two computers with straight-through TP cable.
(Cross-over TP cables has the following pin connections: 1 to 3, 3 to 1, 2 to 6 and 6 to 2.)
