I need to burn the Ubuntu iso to disk.

I don't think you can do it with just Xp.
Have to look around the software Threads & find a Free DL that'll do it.

Yes, works great, have used it before. Be sure to download the correct one for your version of Windows.

cdburnerxp pro works amazing.
ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/) also works very well and is free.

I don't know if this'll help or not. I just burned a ISO install disk (CD) for Mephis 64 with the free app k3b. I've always used Nero, as far back as I can remember (I think XP has a burn program standard, I don't know if it'll burn ISO's), but if you are using Ubuntu or a Linux OS give k3b try, I did and I was impressed If you are using one of the windose OS's there are many free apps out there for burning CD's and DVD's. If I can find a program that will replace my 1 Click for DVD's I my never boot into windose again.
