Hello,

Was just about to order my new system with a DS3, C2D 6420 and the following memory:

OCZ Gold 2GB Kit PC2-5400 DDR2 RAM CL 4-4-4-12 = £93.94


However I just found the following on the same site:

Patriot 2GB Kit PC5300 667MHz 4-4-4-12 = £58.95

Alot cheaper - why? Which would you get?

Oh and I probably won't be overclocking the RAM if that makes a big difference

I think both will perform about the same. Go for the cheaper of the two.

I agree with inkfx, I doubt that it would really make a difference, especially if you're not overclocking.
