Silicone to seal the Peltier, and Conformal coating is invaluable

Ive seen spray conformal coating as low as $9.99 (Do a Google search)

So just surround the pelt in between the block and plate with silicone? Is that stuff easy to remove if you need to pry your pelt out of there afterwards?

Allroy,

Read all you can before making the leap into the world of the peltier, heres a start. (http://www.overclockers.com/topiclist/index21.asp#PELTIERS)

Lots of bright people have had all sorts of mishaps with Peltiers, learn all you can, and dont skimp on the safeguards. An ounce of preventions may save you a pound of cash in the long run
