eh, in my opinion it's worth the extra $40-$50 for the full-size card...but this is perfect for anyone looking for an excellent sound card; not one I'd upgrade to, but certainly one I'd buy as a step-up from onboard...

great card, and the only x-fi that supports standard front audio ports without a breakout box. too bad it's a rebate price, but still an excellent deal.
