well id say ocz but just because ive never owned evga, they seem to have great service, well both do, dont fret and decide on your own

If you plan to use the step up program from EVGA that might be a nice thing to get there card otherwise. Not a nVidia guy myself but they are probably exactly the same.

Boss give you a deadline or something? I'd go with the evga, as I've had no problem with that company in the past.

XFX: similar double life time warranty (supports overclocking and aftermarket cooling). No step up. I always buy XFX.

evga has no problem with ocing and aftermarket cooling... when i did my step up they stated to put the stock cooling back on if you have aftermarket cooling... and for ocing... if you arnt bios flashing how are they gonna kno!

Possibly a similar way that Intel can tell. Surely the clock information can be stored on a chip on the board itself without us knowing about it.

ya i have never heard n e good about XFX... lotta ppl have probs with their cards. And evga stepup program kicks SO MUCH ASS its awsome... i traded in my 7900gt KO 512mb that i paid 360 for they gave me the full price back and i got a 8800gts 640mb.

Eh? Didn't mean that they can't. I'm just saying that XFX has just changed their warranty to reflect eVGA's. :(

I've owned both eVGA and XFX. I haven't had problems with either.

no problems with either mine nor my roommates xfx.... even though this guy did not even mention xfx.

LOL!! well I had troubles with newegg... they wouldn't accept my canadian credit card so I had to wait for my intermediate in the US to log on so I could paypal him the money and he could order for me...

Well lots of unecessary headaches....

Ah. Think Newegg only ships items to the US. Maybe things have changed I know there was some discussion about it a while ago but not sure if it went through.

NP actaully your english is pretty good ;) better than any of my second languages hehe.
