no i plan on using each.
Preliminary review: They have a horrible lap job, Scratches, dents, etc. Also, there are three indentations in a triangle (equalateral) around the center, about 3 cm away from one another. what are they?

well if u wont share then why bragging about it in this post?
About those three marks, I'd say they're probably the marks from a 3 jawed mandrel on the lathe they cut the fan hole out with. Those mandrel "fingers" have a step that sits behind what you're turning.
Just a guess. If I'm wrong, that's only the third time this year.:)

I will test these this way:
USING INCLUDED TIM: UNLAPPED
USING ARCTIC ALUMINA COMPOUND: UNLAPPED
USING ARCTIC SILVER 2: UNLAPPED
USING SOME OTHER TYPE OF TIM (need recomendation here): UNLAPPED
USING INCLUDED TIM: LAPPED
USING ARCTIC ALUMINA COMPOUND: LAPPED
USING ARCTIC SILVER 2: LAPPED
USING SOME OTHER TYPE OF TIM (need recomendation here): LAPPED
This way, it will be boring AND informative!
