ok,
i was just wondering what cpu i should buy right now for the best overclocks?? i dont really care about the most speed, i just wanna get something i can submerge and overclock the crap out of it.
i guess i mean, i would rather get 800@1200 rather than 1200@1400.

Personally, I'd go more for speed than percentage. The 1200@1400 would be better than 800@1200 for a simple reason:
1400>1200.
AMD chips can be multiplier unlocked, which would help you.

Crazy Jayhawk - I noticed in your sig that you have 17 fans....do you use BayBus's to control them?

Get an XP and overclock it. They aren't too bad, and are the fastest things out there.

If you really want a good overclock an article on the main site said that the new celeron 1.2's will make it to 1.6 (that's 100fsb vs. 133fsb). That's pretty good for percentage. I think you might need to do a voltage mod though, not sure.

You'd probably get even more responses if you moved this post to AMD CPU's.
