Hi all, I recently upgraded my mobo from a budget Radeon Xpress 200 model to the evga nforce 680i SLI and have been running into some OCing problems with the Nvidia control panel and NVtweak. It seems that whenever I specificy an arbitrary frequency for core and memory (even one that worked on the old mobo with complete stability) the overclock will disappear upon reboot! I've looked all around the control panel and NVtweak and have found no option saying "reset frequencies upon reboot" or anything like that. Is this a software bug or is it just hidden somewhere I was just to stupid to look? Any help is appreciated. :)

Get RivaTuner, think 2.01 is the newest version. It has a setting for "apply overclocked setting on windows startup"
Hope it solves ur problem

Hi, whats the best settings you have tried to overclock this card and have it stable from stock using riva tuner? got the same card and I am new to the whole overclock scene.
Thanks

Thanks mate, the worked out! As for my highest OC, I've gotten to 610MHz core and 1500MHz memory up from 560/1400. Much above that would give me instability. It should be noted however that I haven't tried uber hard to squeeze every last bit of performance out of this card. I haven't tried messing with voltages, aftermarket cooling or anything like that. YMMV of course, but you'll probably get further than me if you put in any decent effort. :)
