Looking to build a new quad-core system and need to get some new ddr2 mem. What is the stuff I need to get to oc this bad boy. Looking at the Q6600. And I'm thinking about getting 4 gigs. Looking to buy this stuff by friday.

TIA

No one knows what is good memory these days? I know D9's are what I want but I don't know what is currently using them. And I don't know If I need just ddr2 800 or 1000 or 1066 or what. Need some guidance please.

Don't **** an attitude... (j/k :) )

This is a really good deal

Though I doubt you need DDR1000 because you're FSB isn't going to be that high on a Quad Core.

I got these in my bro's comp and they are sweet:

Both of them use Micron D9 chips which are really good. Both of those mems that I just listed were about twice that cost about 3 months ago, so now is a good time to buy.

Oh I didn't mean to come off like that. I guess I might have worded it wrong. I just meant with all the people here that are extremely smart I just figured it would of been full of suggestions on what they like or think is the best. I guess I wasn't at my best the other morning. I want some sticks with d9's and I have been having some trouble figuring out for sure what one do for sure. Just need to know on average what the d9's will clock to and at what voltage. I am jumping to ddr2 for the first time and Intel for the first time in many years.
