Jeezes.. Western Digital has some good RMA Service.
Recently about a month ago my WD15gig died. I figured the waranty was not valid anymore. 2 weeks later I checked the date of the hdd made and it was June 2000! And I knew hard drive usually have 1 year waranties I sent the hard drive in about 2 weeks ago. 1 Day it got there since were in the same province. In the box I shipped I included the hard drive only a signature confirming some stuff. Although I didn't meet some stuff like they said I have to include cables and stuff... I didn't include cables I didn't include a letter explaining what happened within a week later(today) I got it! I got a 17gig heh I was hopping 30 because they didn't make 15gigs anymore I was hopping.. They didn't phone me or anything although the UPS was very dumb and couldn't find my house while they were what a 2min drive away from me.
