Crucial Ballistix 2x1G PC2-8500 Results

Got my kit in this afternoon. Been playing with it for a while now

Test bed:

Crucial 2x1G PC2-8500 Ballistix
Xeon 3070
Abit Quad GT
Silverstone ST56ZF 560W
X1300XT 256MB

CAS5 is easy 2.350v -



CAS4 not so easy for me 2.500v -

600MHz CAS 4 on that mobo is awesome! Betcha you're the first one to pull that off.

Well, you asked, so here's what I've done so far. (No its not remotely stable, in fact it took me nearly two hours just to suicide it sucessfully)
2.73V (2.675 set on Asus Commando)

2.4v was actually enough for me to "see" 701MHz...but didn't stay long enough for a validation. On the 1066 strap I make it to 660 benchable, 1333 seems to be round 20mhz higher.

However on the P5W DH I can't even get 550. I was hoping that this ram would break that mobo's limitations, but I was wrong.
