View Full Version : got my 1100E...saw something interesting
Ok I got my 1100E today and put it in and ran Sandra and saw something interesting under CPU and bios information
under rated speed its listed 1466Mhz/133Mhz
is this right???? I'm currently burning in at defaults and multiplier is 11
I also noticed on the chip
Q126A511-1333
SLQ5W
will take a screenshot later on tonight after I reinstall photoshop
Hmm, don't get your question
You've said you have multiplier x11
And Sandra Shows your bus speed @ 133MHz
Well, 11x133=1463, i.e. just about what you getting.
Check out default bus speed for that chip.
If it is 133MHz the default multiplier shall be 'bout 8, 8.5
I'm currently running at 1100 (100FSB) with default voltage and Sandra is reading as 1.10Ghz P3
1466/133 is listed as rated speed in Sandra
That's weird
Usually sandra is quite accurate.
You using recent Sandra version?
Could be just the fact Sandra's lastest cpu readings aren't up to date try WPCPUID
using the latest (free) version of sandra
in both sandra and wcpuid the cpu shows up correctly
just the rated speed in sandra thats off.....oh well just seemed interesting

How are the benchmarks?

Mine showed up the same way. I asked here about it and the suggestion was that it's just another one of Sandra's little screwups. :)
