A dramitic drop in performance with the 158 drivers????

With the rig in my sig, I went from driver 165.01 and 9170 3DMarks in 06

To, 158 drivers and 4568 3DMarks in 06. F.E.A.R is extremely choppy in some parts, havent played much else, BF2 and 2142 run ok (so far, havent played them a whole lot yet...heh)

This really bugs me how my ignorant co-workers believe that ATI Is INFERIOR to Nvidia because of their drivers. When Nvidia is having more problems now... I guess they are from the stone age LOL.

I am not sure what I did to cause it, but I opened up rivatuner, hit the bottom customize button, then the end icon Reset all Driver Values to there Default Values, and everything is good now......

The problem was my 8800 was very much slow
the core and ram was running real slow, much slower then it should have been, I think the ram was running at 396mhz.....
