What would be a good northbridge for slot 1 cpus. Not alot of space between the chipset and the CPU. Any Ideas?:D

Space enough for this?
Or use a gpu cooler with elbows on the edge opposite the cpu.

Just a couple of ideas.

I don't have the space to mount a northbridge cooler on my board. I rely (<--SP?), on the way I mounted the shroud for my alpha, to draw air across the northbridge heatsink. right now the CPU is at 35°C and the northbridge is at 27°C, so it seems to be working. Running SETI, Sonique, and Iexplore (two instances).

I use a TennMax Lasagna (http://www.tennmax.com/) But the problem is they are pricey at $19 (Someone gave me mine, otherwise I would have bought one of the ones below.)

Radio Shack sells a couple 486 heatsinks thats are about 12 mill in height that will also fit. I had one of those on my last slot 1 mobo.

This one is $4.99

I also use this Radio Shack heatsink for my Ramsinks except I add silver base's to them.
