Well I haven't seen anyone else post these and I came about them while browsing, thought I'd start a thread...

I think the last one is fairly common, its basically a 3x120mm radiator with uv reactive paint (never a good idea, paint usually isnt conductive), but whats the point of the first one? Are you supposed to use that when you want to get a quad core to like 6ghz or something?

wow .... thats alot of radiator, you could cool a necular power plant with that freaking thing, or a presscot alteast! :p

seriuosly wtf 120x9 is insane, i would have to use that as my case side panel, and imagine having 18 panflow's or delta's on that sucker

talk about not being able to sleep

That 120.9 is pointless, having even low CFM fans on it would be loud.

I like that 120.4 though, might be easier to mount on a smaller case than the traditional long 120.4s you could put it on the side panel or something :)

120x9? Thats some serious e-penage. I'm intimidated already.
Actually, I'm not intimidated, I would laugh hysterically for about 20 mins, ask how much they paid for it and repeat.

I wanna get the 120.9 for my HD and ram blocks.

I actually LOL'd at that. I do see your point, it is WAY overkill for anything.

Build a case cube out of it. 1 on top, 1 on bottom, 2 on sides. :) The ultimate overkill in water cooling :)
Actually its looks like just 3x 120.3's stuck together. The connections must be on the other side of the unit.

I'm curious... Is there a point of diminishing returns with a radiator? How can 9x120mm be excessive when people are building quad stage cascade phase-change systems to cool their CPU to below -100°C? Either its more efficent or its not. Loud, yes, but then so is a phase change system.

LOL. that, starting to get a little retarded though.... Although, there we messloads of industrial AC fans you could throw as that thing to keep it quite... but man. . . And here I find a 120.3 to be almost too big....

I could see it being used on maybe a large loop in a server, though not worth it for home use as water can only be cooled so much with normal air.
