I'm looking for a good, recent RTS game to pick up, any recommendations? I hear C&C3 is pretty good, anything else?

C&C 3 gets my vote. I didn't like supreme commander, but i only played the demo.

C&C 3 is pretty enjoyable, especially if you are more interested in fighting than building and resource gathering. Company of Heroes is slightly older, but still an excellent game.

A highly underated rts imo,is rise and fall civilizations at war and it looks good and is cheap too.
C&C3 is indeed very good,Medieval Total War 2 is awesome,Have'nt managed to get into Supreme Commander yet but im sure if you persevere it will be great.

hmmm, interesting...after reading the reviews on IGN, it looked like SC was the stronger, deeper game, but people here like C&C better. I wonder why. I'll mostly be doing multi and skirmishes, IDK if that makes a difference.

I'll recommend CNC3 too. Great game.
I'd also like to second Company of Heroes. Very fun WW2 RTS game. It's been around for a while, but not dated by any means. There'll be an expansion out as well later this year.

I'll add another recommendation for Medieval 2: Total War. Awesome game.
Two others worth checking out are Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2, and the expansion for Star Wars: Empire at War called Forces of Corruption (you have to have the original to use the expansion).

From a stratergy and depth stand point SC is miles better then C&C3.
C&C3 is just fun with cool cut scenes, dont forget Company of Heroes its a quality game, i think any RTS fan should play all 3 at some point.
