I have only been OC'ing for 2 Months need some help please.
Q1 - When and Why do I bump the voltage?
Q2 - How high can I take the FSB with PC133 Ram
Q3 - Is PC150 worth the money
My system Spec :
PIII 1ghz @ 1125 (150FSB)
35deg Idle 46deg load
Stock CPU Cooling
Extra Case cooling, lots of it.
ASUS TUSL2-C
512MB PC133
Geforce2 GTS 32 MB @ 225/410
SB Live 5.1
3dMark2001 = 3771

1. You bump it when can't hit a higher FSB stable or at all. This of course brings in heat issues.
2. It's really up to the quality of the RAM and how aggressive the settings. I'd say low 150's at least.
3. IMO, no. I think PC150 ram is just really good quality PC133's and therefore made the cut for running at least 150. I usually buy Crucial RAM and don't think about it=)

Voltage should only be bumped up when you have problems staying stable in Windows, or it won't post without enough voltage.
Depends PC-133 can't take much depending on the brand etc. Although it will most likely crap out at 140-150 fsb.
Yes PC-150 is defintely worth the money if there are good purposes to buy it in your case there is your already runnning at 150fsb and you should get way more out of it if you had faster ram.
Although I ask if your on a TUSL2 and running at 150 fsb doesn't that mean your running your PCI bus at 50?!

Thanks for the answers
for tsunami : "Although I ask if your on a TUSL2 and running at 150 fsb doesn't that mean your running your PCI bus at 50?!"
I my bios I set it to Ratio 133:133:33 and set the frequency to 150/150/37, this means my PCI bus is 37 right?
Am I understanding what my bios shows me correctly?
Kinda new to this so correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks

#1 like they have said if you can get above 150FSB on your MB and its unstable then yes you need to up your CV but do not raise it until you get a good copper HSF to keep your temps down look at my rig in my sig if it gets to 33C under full load it will crash on these p3 1g CPU's well they can get tempermental about temps if you overclock them higher then where your at now.
#2 when you get BSOD its time they are all different but about where your at is it i'm lucky at 160FSB cas3.
#3 no because if you go any higher then 150 it will crap out. over 150 you need to run at minus clock speed
