I can't remember whether I've ever visited this forum, so please forgive me if this issue has been covered ad-nauseum.

This information is over one year old and I was wondering if either VIA 4in1 or Win2K Service Pack 2 already addresses this? I am running an Abit KT7A (current bios rev.) and Radeon 7500. I just want to do this right the first time. Right now, I am at the point of installing where the OS is installed, but I have not applied SP2, the VIA 4in1, the above-mentioned registry patch, or any add-on card device drivers not native to Win2KPro. I will be running 3D apps at some point. Any other tidbits of wisdom are appreciated. I'm as lazy as the next guy and would just as soon benefit from other peoples experiences, as opposed to having to reason though everything from an unexperienced perspective. FWIW, this setup worked great under Windows ME.
