So I just installed this game to see what it was about and logged in for the first time, it crashed right away, went back and was walking around a bit and trying to get used the the UI but then it locked up and my monitor went to no signal for 2-3 seconds then to my desktop and I closed the game(wasn't responding) and now it seems as if I have no gfx drivers installed scrolling is jittery and the cpu usage skyrockets whenever I do anything...for no reason wtf.
So I'm going to restart and hope everything is fine...but this has never happened I don't understand it.

everything was fine after restart, then I tried playing again...same exact thing happened. My computer is for some reason bogged down graphically? Now I gotta restart again and not touch this crappy game.

Legit copy of the game or is something else...?
Virus checked the files?

If it was a Virus the computer most likely would not go back to normal after a restart unless it was a very sloppy virus that involved you running the .exe each time it. Some programs even when exited out still tie up system resources. Open Task Manager and see if you can find anything for it in the processes tab. Also what video drivers are you using?

thing is in task manager after it froze up and I ended the program, there was nothing resembling the game taking up any resources...but whenever I moved my mouse, right clicked, browsed on a webpage my CPU usage SHOT up and it was jerky.
No idea what it was.
Drivers:
ATI Optimized Driver v1.7a by TechConnect Magazine
(former NGO Driver)
Based on offical Catalyst 4.12b2

Sounds like it is calling on a few dependencies and is not properly exiting them. In task manager under processes, it should show how much each program is using. Try to find one that could be causing this.

Really you're not missing much - my brief foray into Second Life was mainly gigantic furries, spawn-bugs that crashed servers, naked-baby-avatars D: , people who are wayyyy to into their "second" life, horse wang (literally), and other horrible pedo nonsense. I thought I would go to jail for just being on their servers.
The somethingawful goons did make a lovely recreation of 9/11 complete with the attempted assassination of the pope (http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/61/poopmobile2rc4.jpg) though. Like I said, you're not missing much.
