Is It Possible To Share A Scanner On A Network??

Hi Friends
Just wanted to know whether u can share a scanner over a network as we share the printer??

There are progams to do this, but your best bet is to create a shared folder on a scanning workstation.
Scan the page into the folder then go back to your workstation and move it over. Otherwise you have to go to the shared scanner, put your document on it, go back to your computer do the scan, go back to the scanner retreive your document, go back to your station to work with the new file.

It can't be done with parrel port scanners, I think I've seen it done once with a scsii, while at college.

My brother has a scsi epson scanner that he has a scsi card for how would i go about sharing this on the network if i is possible that is?
